Performance
The Cadillac XT6 is no stranger to great performance, given that it offers two engine options. Its standard engine is a turbo-four with 237 horsepower, which might be underwhelming but not at high speeds. The optional V-6 is more than capable, producing 310 horsepower. Each engine is offered a nine-speed automatic.
If you want to yield good gas mileage ratings, stick with the standard powertrain setup that involves the turbo-four and front-wheel-drive system. The powertrain setup records 27 mpg on the highway and 21 mpg in the city. All-wheel-drive will affect the ratings, even for the V-6 engine.
The XT6 boasts composed handling, making it suitable for city driving. It is also effective in rugged areas like in Renton due to the several off-road capabilities it comes with, such as massive tires, sufficient ground clearance, and a well-tuned suspension that highly ensures the gentle ride. Towing capabilities also accompany the SUV. When properly equipped, especially with an all-wheel drive, this SUV can tow up to 4,000 pounds.
